Prop Event Calendars: Keep the Release and Reminder Separate
A reminder tells you when your calendar plans to notify you. It does not prove when an economic release occurred or which account day a provider applied. Keep the event identity, scheduled instant, notification and account observation as separate records.

Use one event identity across calendar copies
RFC 5545 distinguishes the calendar event start from an alarm trigger. For a fixed instant, retain UTC or a properly specified timezone rather than an unqualified floating wall time. Keep the official release source beside the calendar entry so a personal edit does not become an issuer announcement.
A London display belongs to a dated instant. Copying the event into two calendars should not create two research events. Preserve the original event identifier, source version and the actual imported start before reviewing a later alert.
Audit a fictional ten-minute reminder
Suppose an example event starts at 12:30 UTC on 28 October 2026 and its reminder is ten minutes earlier. The intended alert instant is 12:20 UTC. London displays 12:30 for the event on that date, while a fixed UTC+4 clock displays 16:30.
If the device notification actually arrives at 12:22 UTC, record that observation separately from the planned 12:20 trigger. Neither time establishes that the release was published. A missing notification record is unknown, not evidence that the economic event was cancelled.
| Record | UTC time | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Event start | 28 Oct 12:30 | Planned event, actual publication separate |
| Intended reminder | 28 Oct 12:20 | Ten minutes before start |
| Observed notification | 28 Oct 12:22 | Separate device observation |
| Fixed UTC+4 event display | 28 Oct 16:30 | Not an account-status confirmation |
Review the account on its own evidence
The related resource preserves this site’s calendar worksheet. Before relating the event to an evaluation, read the chosen product’s account clock and method conditions. A personal reminder cannot redefine those conditions or confirm an account update.
The optional sponsored HashHedge link leads to current programme information. This guide grants no news-trading permission and makes no release forecast. It creates no calendar subscription, notification or account action; the timeline is a fictional audit example.
